Court your Customers! Gift them, spoil them! 3 Ways to keep them coming back for more

As Business Owners we tend to focus more on getting new followers/fans/customers, versus focusing on our current customers. I know we are all guilty of this! For some reason, the number of followers you have determines your success to many people. From the outside looking in people associate follower #’s with success. In reality there is no such thing as overnight success and having a large quantity of followers, doesn’t necessarily mean they are or will ever become customers. Focus on quality, not quantity.

It’s time to STOP focusing on the numbers (how many new followers can I get!?) and focus on the customers/clients who have already purchased products from us. We cannot neglect them! Our goal should be keeping our customers happy (by any means necessary). This will most likely convert many of them into loyal customers and will also result an increase of word of mouth marketing.

1. Courting your Customers

Keeping in touch with your customers should be every business owners #1 priority. It’s essential to include your contact information in all your packaging so customers will be able to locate you. Also, be sure to save their contact information. But don’t stop there! Afterwards it’s a great idea to send follow up, Thank you card or gift. Many times we do not want to give away free products, however everyone loves gifts! By surprising your customers with gift(s) this will make them feel special and appreciated. This will require an investment as a Business Owner, but it will be well worth it.

2. Customer Appreciation Card

Stop and think for a second… (Count 1, 2, 3) When you support a business, do you feel appreciated? If not, will you return back to make additional purchases? More then likely, NO. Providing customers with incentives and discounts shows them you appreciate their business.

3. Customer Appreciation Party

It’s extremely important that entrepreneurs show their customers they are appreciated. Hosting a cocktail reception, Girls Night Out, Guys Night Out, Dinner Party, etc. and of course shower them with gifts and Thank you’s. I am in the process of planning a party for my customers and it’s going to be amazing! A customer appreciation event is very beneficial, it can result in repeat customers and referrals.

Tired of Unsuccessful Vendor Events? Here is your Guide to Success! PART 2

Ever wondered if a Vendor Fee was TOO HIGH!? Here’s a guide to help with your decision-making process. Personally, after participating in a significant amount of Vendor Events I’ve seen it all! Soooo I’ve decided to compile a list of Example Vendor Fees. I’ve found that the amount of expected attendees, generally determines what Vendor Fee is appropriate as an investment.

Example vendor fees:

$50- $150 = 50-300 attendees

$150 -$250 = 300- 1000 attendees

$250- $1200 = 1000- 40,000 attendees

$1200 =  40,000+ attendees

Basic Questions to ask the Event Organizer (or Research if accessible)

• Is there a website?
• How long has the event been in existence? Ex. Monthly, 1^st Annual, 10^th Annual, etc.
• Who’s involved? Who’s the organizer? Are they  Influencers, movers, shakers in the industry?
• How many Attendees will there be? (The vendor fee should reflect the amount of attendees
• What type of Marketing will be completed prior, during and following event? Will event be marketed online via social media, radio, newspaper, etc.
• Will there be duplicated vendors (any vendors in the same category or same company as me)
  • IF YES, strongly consider whether this works for your business. You’re paying the vendor fee therefore you want to be the exclusive (only) vendor of your kind at the event.
• Cost of the Event? (select an event in your budget. Remember…the purpose of participating in vendor events is so that you make a profit. )

When investing a larger vendor fee, ASK MORE QUESTIONS? Remember you as the business owner have to determine whether this particular event is beneficial for your business. Just because the event is planned and is official doesn’t necessary make it good event!

Here are a few additional questions to ask the event organizer:

• Is there a media press kit? (This will tell you the demographics who will be in attendance)

• Will there be Media Coverage? (Newspaper, TV, Radio, Blogs, Photographers, etc.)

• Will there be any opportunities for Vendors to speak during the event/ give raffle prizes/ logo listed in event program/ products or samples inclusion in event swag bags (for exposure)? etc.

SUGGESTIONS

• Look at Event/ Organizer Social Media Accounts
  • Are people talking about the event/ Engagement?
  • (If possible) research how many tickets have been sold (Confirmed Attendees)?

Tips for success during your event

• Be Friendly and Smile
• Be Approachable
• Present yourself as an expert
• Build relationships/ Have conversations
• Don’t be Pushy!
• Put the Products in the potential customers hands
• Allow customers to sample on the spot/ Give away samples
• You can be confident that attendees are there to buy
• KNOW YOUR PRODUCT! Educate yourself on the product.
• Wear your Brand. Be a Product of the Product
• Walk around and network with guests and OTHER VENDORS
  • Many times other vendors will purchase the product
  • Pass out samples (or candy) when you walk around
• The 100 No’s still apply at vendor events .DON’T BE AFRAID OF REJECTION! The more No’s you receive, the closer you are to a YES!

Tired of Unsuccessful Vendor Events? Here is your Guide to Success! PART 1

Vendor events can be very lucrative for business!  HOWEVER it’s important to DO YOUR RESEARCH & ASK QUESTIONS before investing time/money or before making the commitment. BE SELECTIVE! Determine which events are best fit for your business/organization.

Why Participate in vendor events/EXPOS?

• Large Audience (50 people to 50,000 people +)
• Build Connections/ Collect Contact Information (Be sure to save contact information and Follow up. “The Fortune is in the Follow up.”)
• Gain New Customers (Build Relationships)
• Sign up New Recruits (Introduce the Opportunity to everyone)
• Book home & online parties on the spot (Have your calendar available to book parties on the spot)
• Brand Awareness: Pass out your cards (Designate a time to walk around to Mix and Mingle)
• Do Giveaways (Have attendees complete a sign in sheet or Raffle ticket. Announce winner of giveaway at event or afterwards- mail the prize to the winner)
• Allow people to sample products (If possible, invest in samples to pass out- great way to allow attendees to try the products and increase the chances of them making a purchase)
• SPONSOR EVENTS (Search for events that are seeking Event sponsors. Pay the fee (Fees generally start at $10+, sometimes are free or more expensive $100- $1000+) to sponsor the event in exchange for publicity (via social media, newspaper, blogs, etc.)
• INTRODUCE YOUR BUSINESS TO NEW AUDIENCE (If possible, ask event organizer if your business can do a quick elevator pitch to the audience. Afterwards walk around and show attendees your product. 9/10 You will make sales on the spot )

• Facebook Vendor Events (In Facebook…Type your City followed by Vendor Events. Ex. Chicago Vendor Events)
• Search Hashtags on Instagram and Twitter (Example: #Vendors #VendorEvents #ChicagoVendors #ChicagoFashionShow #Sponsor)
• Search Local Newspapers – To Do Section

Are you uncomfortable, Yet!? Maybe that’s why you’re not growing!

When you’re making business & life decisions, does it feel safe and comfortable everytime? Not producing the maximum results you’d like? Maybe e you’re playing it too safe! You may need to rethink your strategy. 

Think outside the box. Create a business plan which includes new processes and procedures to challenge you. By challenging yourself you’ll be able to determine what unhidden skills you have and learn all that you’re capable of.

I CHALLENGE YOU! Add new, challenging tasks/goals to your everyday routine. Stay consistent and work towards your goal (s) everyday. You’ll REACH THE TOP OF THE CHARTS in no time! Remember it only takes 21 days to form a habit.  It’s like training for a fight. If you’re a boxer you have to train your mind and body. If you stop training for a day or two, you nearly have to start over again. Then it becomes more and more difficult to get back started. That uncomfortable feeling will always return.

Many times feeling uncomfortable… nervous…Scared, etc. is a sign you’re headed in the right direction. Don’t be scurred! lol. This is the fuel you need for your Fire!  In order to get something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done. 

Who do you spend most of your time around? Are the Positive or Negative? Broke or Financially Stable?  Surround yourself with people who add value to your life (Those who can offer support, knowledge, motivation, etc. )and remove the negativity IMMEDIATELY!  Personally that’s what keeps me going everyday! My Support System. When I’m feeling down or READY TO QUIT they remind me why I’m doing this in the first place! Have faith, keep pushing and get UNCOMFORTABLE!!

Change your Mindset, Change your Life!

Hey gals and gents!

You cannot. I repeat. You cannot be extremely successful in the Network Marketing or any other industry if you do not continuously educate yourself.

You cannot grow your business to a Millionaire status, with a 5 figure Mindset!

Throughout this mindset growth/education process, you will not change/grow, until you know better. Which you are unable to do, until you start reading, listening to Audio tapes, YouTube Videos, Training courses, conferences, etc. 

It doesn’t happen over night! This time last year I wouldn’t even pick up a book or pay for a conference.  I’m soooo serious. But when I was finally ready to go to the next level, I realized it was time for a change!

As soon as I picked up my first self help book, my life/business started to change immediately! Because I started feeding my brain with more knowledge and positivity,  I started to produce more positive results.
